Creating products with our local economy and environment in mind. Enju is committed to constant improvements in design, production and materials used to create it's products. Using modern prints with timeless shapes, Enju creates effortless fashion at affordable prices.
Enju is created by Julie McCullough Kim, a self-taught designer. JMK is also the founder and shop-gal of Make Shop * Studio and the Urban Street Bazaar as well as co-founder and executive producer of The Pin Show (PINS LLC), and independent fashion event in Dallas, TX.
When Julie McCullough Kim decided to introduce clothing into the line that she had started with handbags in 2005, it was important for her to create "old fashioned" quality garments, as well as to create an impact on her local economy and job market. With these principles in mind and against the grain of big commerce focused design houses she has formed a process with a very talented local network that brings Enju from sketch to showroom.
Each product is designed in the Oak Cliff, TX studio and is either produced in house or locally manufactured at a fair wage. While not all of our supplies and materials are local, we find those which are and incorporate them into our line and continue to search for more ways to incorporate local and regional materials.
Enju's mission is to bring affordable design to the masses without sacrificing quality, ethics, or our local economy.
